Custom Rom Updates

RisingOS v1.3.1 unofficial for Redmi Note 10 Pro/Max (sweet/sweetin)

RisingOS, previously riceDroid, one of the best AOSP custom roms is now available for Redmi Note 10 Pro/Max users. Though the RisingOS team still doesn’t officially support the Sweet or Sweetin. So this is an unofficial port of the RisingOS V1.3,1 build. But despite being an unofficial port, it’s very stable and comes with very minimal bugs. So let’s see what this ROM offers in terms of features and usability.

Features of RisingOS v1.3.1 of Redmi Note 10 Pro

RisingOS v1.3.1, being an AOSP ROM, comes with a lot of features. Let’s see some of the key features of this rom.

Leica Camera

This port ROM of RisingOS for Redmi Note 10 Pro comes with the Leica Camera built-in. Most of the official custom ROMs have this camera app prebuilt. Despite being an unofficial ROM, the modder included this awesome camera app in the system.

Besides offering the Leica Vibrant and Leica Authentic color profile options, the Leica camera app includes some extra features that are unavailable in the stock MIUI ROM. These are Panorama, Short Film, Slow-Motion, Time-Lapse, Stickers, Movie Effects, Supermoon, Pocket Mirror, Director Mode, Clone Mode, and more. There is also an option to capture full 64MP/108MP images.

Dolby Atmos

Dolby Atmos feature

The Dolby Atmos feature enhances the audio processing of the device and produces a better output. The Dolby included in this rom isn’t the stock Dolby Atmos from MIUI. This is the Dolby Atmos of ZTE™ Axon 7 that’s being used in many custom roms to the day.

QS Header Image

There are a few custom roms that have this feature including this RisingOS for Redmi Note 10 Pro. Basically with this feature, you can set a custom image behind the Quick Setting Panel header where the Time, Date, and other stuff are shown. This looks cool as the image slowly fades out from the top to bottom. This creates a depth in the panel.

UI tweaks

As the ROM is based on Android 13, you will see the themed icon, accent color from the wallpaper, and other basic features. Additionally, you will see some UI tweaks such as the App windows in the Recent panel are now more rounded.

There are some useful tools in the Recent panel such as Screenshots, Lock window (App Pinning), Close all apps, and most importantly a button for split screen. This button normally remains hidden and enabled exclusively on tablet devices. Adding it to this ROM makes the Multitasking easier.

Spoofing Features

Spoofing features of rising os

RisingOS offers some popular device spoofing techniques to achieve special features like other custom ROMS for Redmi Note 10 Pro. These includes Unlimited Google Photos, Netflix Spoofing, 90fps support in some games, and Google Camera Spoofing which is exclusive to Pixel Devices to enable some features in Google Camera App. May not work on non-Pixel devices using this ROM.

Bugs and errors

The rom is almost free of bugs. The only bug is with the QS header image. If you try to change the image height, it will glitch it completely. So if you use the feature, don’t mess with the image height parameter.
