Xiaomi just unveiled their latest 13 series of flagship smartphones on December 11th, 2022. They launched two models, the Xiaomi 13 and 13 pro.
Both models are equipped with all the latest and greatest features. These phone’s are among some of the first smartphones with the latest Qualcomm snapdragon 8 gen 2 chipset.
Xiaomi 13 series will compete with the Samsung s23 series as their main competitor. Vivo and Oppo are expected to launch smartphones with the 8 gen 2 chipset very soon.

Xiaomi 13 Specifications includes a 6.36″ FHD+ 120Hz E6 AMOLED panel with 1900 nits peak brightness. It also have a 50MP IMX800 OIS+12MP UW+ 10MP Telephoto OIS camera and 32MP front camera. Xiaomi 13 will have a 4500mAh battery. 67W wired & 50W wireless charging. Other features include LPDDR5X, UFS 4.0, Wifi 6E.
Xiaomi 13 pro also has similar features but with a different camera setup. The 13 pro has a 1 inch 50MP sensor. The ultrawide and the Telephoto camera are also 50MP. The Pro model has a bigger 4820mAh battery with 120w wired and 50w wireless charging. Both models have official IP68 rating.
Xiaomi 13 and 13 pro are priced very reasonably for the specs. The converted Chinese price is around USD 570 for the Xiaomi 13 and USD 720 for the pro model. Prices are expected to rise a little for the global release.
