Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 comes with the top-tier Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The base variant starts at 12GB Ram and 256GB storage. Xiaomi released two more variants, 16GB+512GB and the top 16GB+1TB. Xiaomi used their 2nd generation cooling system inside the Mix Fold 3.
The hinge and weight of the Mix Fold 3
Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 comes with a new hinge design that’s claimed to be more durable than ever before. The hinge now supports hovering in any position between 45° to 135°. Xiaomi grantees 5,00,000 times worry-free fold. Though the crease is still there and pretty visible. The Mix Fold 3 isn’t extraordinarily light but still slimmer than most other foldables in the current market.
Display Features of Xiaomi Mix Fold 3
Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 offers the latest Samsung E6 Amoled display with 2600 nits peak (1300 nits in standard mode) brightness. Xiaomi used the same display on both sides to give a consistent viewing experience. Both displays of the Mix Fold 3 support 120Hz high refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+. Xiaomi claimed to use ultra-thin glass to protect the inner screen from scratches.
Camera Highlights of Xiaomi Mix Fold 3
The camera hardware of Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 is also extraordinary. Xiaomi uses 50MP main sensor. The dual 10MP telephoto with 3.2X and 5X optical zoom is confirmed. Leica’s collaboration is still there. We have already seen the awesome image samples of Mix Fold 3. Xiaomi uses a 20MP selfie camera on both sides of the phone. The ultrawide is now a 12MP sensor. Alongside the Leica collaboration, Xiaomi also uses its self-developed Image Brain technology.
Battery and Charging features
Being a foldable phone, Xiaomi used a 4800mAh battery inside the Mix Fold 3. The phone supports 67W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. The charging speed is significantly higher than most other folding phones in the current market. Xiaomi also uses two dedicated chips to monitor and manage the charging and battery management of the device.
