After a long wait, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo has been launched in China today. This is one of the most hyped smartphones in 2023. Social media was full of its rumors and leaks. We know most of its specifications. Let’s take a look at some of its key specifications before we share the pricing.
Redmi Note 12 Turbo offers some very interesting hardware as a mid range smartphone. First of all, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo comes with the latest Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset that Qualcomm announced a few days ago. This new Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 has some unique character in it. It’s a bit underclocked version of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 flagship processor. Most of the other features remain intact. Like this is the first 7 series processor that supports video recording up to 4K 60 FPS.
But the thing that makes the Redmi Note 12 Turbo launch special is that it’s the first phone that offers Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2. In spite of being an underclocked processor, it offers pretty good performance. We have already seen the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 score over a million in the Antutu benchmark.
Redmi Note 12 Turbo also offers something special in the display section. In spite of being a mid range phone, it offers a beautiful display with very narrow symmetrical bezels. Technically the bezel thickness is thinner than iPhone 13 Pro Max. This is impressive hardware by Xiaomi compared to its price.
Tech blogger and tipster Digital Chat Station shared some live images of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo. The display looks absolutely gorgeous as well as rare. Back design with the camera module is similar to the Redmi Note 12 series.
Now the pricing is also as impressive as its hardware. The Redmi Note 12 Turbo pricing starts from 1999 Yuan with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. There are two more 12GB RAM variants with 256GB and 512GB ROM that cost 2099 Yuan and 2299 Yuan. But the most interesting part is that the phone also offers a 1TB storage variant with 16GB RAM that’s pricing was fixed to 2599 Yuan.
