OnePlus V Fold detailed specifications leaked online
OnePlus is nearing the launch of its first foldable smartphone the OnePlus V Fold in August. OnePlus is one of the last major smartphone brands to release a foldable phone but surprisingly detailed specs of the device shows very competitive or even better hardware than existing foldable smartphones. The camera hardware looks very promising for a foldable because the camera is the main weak point for most foldable phones.
The OnePlus V Fold is a table style foldable similar to galaxy z fold 5 that opens up to reveal a 7.8″ 2K 120Hz AMOLED inner display. When closed it has a 6.3″ 120Hz AMOLED outer display. Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will power the device. It also has 16GB RAM and 256GB storage. So expect top end performance out of the OnePlus V Fold
What set’s the OnePlus V Fold apart from the other foldables is its camera hardware. It will be the first globally available phone to have a periscope telephoto camera at 64MP resolution. Previously the Huawei mate X3 had a periscope Len’s but that phone wasn’t available globally. The phone also has a 48MP main + 48MP ultra wide camera. The selfie camera is 32MP on the outside and 20MP on the inside front.
Other specs of the OnePlus V Fold are Oxygen OS 13.1 on top of Android 13 out of the box. It has the OnePlus iconic alert slider and side-mounted fingerprint sensor
