OnePlus 12 might be the first phone to come with Qualcomm snapdragon 8 gen 3
OnePlus is reportedly in a race to release the first smartphone with the upcoming Qualcomm snapdragon 8 gen 3 processor. According to a very reliable leaker Digital chat station on Weibo, OnePlus is planning to launch their flagship, the OnePlus 12 as early as November 2023.
Qualcomm is set to announce their latest and the most advanced Soc the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 earlier than usual. Last year they launch their 8 Gen 2 chipsets in November 15th. But this year Qualcomm Summit 2023 will be held in Maui, Hawaii from October 24th to 26th for the launch of 8 Gen 3.
The snapdragon 8 gen 3 with be made with TSMC advanced 4nm processor. We already had rumored Geekbench score of a prototype snapdragon 8 gen 3. And the initial improvement looks promising.
There are Several smartphones manufacturers set launch in November with the 8 Gen 3. The Xiaomi 14 series, vivo X100, the iQ0012 series and Redmi K70 series are all in a race to become first. But OnePlus 12 might take title of becoming the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Smartphone.
And regarding the specifications of the OnePlus 12, details are still under wraps. However, a few rumored features have surfaced, such as a 5400mAh battery and the inclusion of a Periscope telephoto lens.
