The all screen Nubia Z50 Ultra 12GB appears on Geekbench
Nubia is currently the leading brand for under-display camera technology. They are also well known for their gaming sub-brand, the RedMagic. The RedMagic 8 Pro is their currently available latest gaming device with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. This time the Nubia Z50 Ultra will also come with the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
The Geekbench report confirms its appearance with the 8 Gen 2. As per the CPU configuration, the Z50 Ultra has a tri-cluster CPU. Cluster 1 has 3 Cores @ 2.02 GHz, Cluster 2 has 4 Cores clocked at 2.80 GHz and the largest and third cluster have a single core having maximum clock speed 3.19 GHz. This is the same CPU configuration as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
Talking about the performance, the Z50 Ultra scores 1494 at single core and 5121 @ multi-core. This is a very respectable score and indicates its raw performance capabilities. Though the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will be a big jump over the 8 Gen 2 as per the rumors.
Samsung Exynos is also trying to cope with the competition. But we will see its effect in 2024 or later.
The Z50 Ultra will come with the latest Android 13 OS. The testing unit had 12GB RAM.
