Microsoft launched their Bing search engine 13 years ago. But consumer’s didn’t like it enough to use it. It was all about Google. In an effort to change that Microsoft integrated OpenAI’s GPT-4 model into Bing to better compete with Google.

Microsoft also announced a new version of the Edge browser with these new AI features built into the sidebar. But the experience is still limited. As time goes on they will slowly release the full experience. This feature will enhance human productivity.

Microsoft Bing's new AI chatbot

Microsoft’s version of chatbot is even better than the chatGPT. Because OpenAI’s ChatGPT bot was trained on data that only covers to 2021, Bing’s version is far more advanced and can handle latest events more accurately.

This feature will change how we use the web. According to Microsoft’s CEO Satya Nadella this technology will reshape pretty much every software category. The old link-centric version of Bing isn’t going away. You can still use it just like before, but now enhanced with AI.
